Registration Dates
Registration will open on Monday July 11th and will close Sunday September 11th. (See extended registration deadline for R4U and U10 above).
A TRYOUT REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE ON AUGUST 7TH, NO LATE REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR A TRYOUTS.
Registration Fees
The registration fee covers Ringette Manitoba fees, Winnipeg Ringette League fees, community center fees, game ice and officials fees. For U10-U19 additional team fees will be due during the season to cover practice ice, tournaments, dryland, etc.
The fee for R4U also covers the R4U Program fee and practice ice, there will be no additional ice fees during the season.
*Players born in 2014 have the option to play an additional year of R4U if they are new to the sport or would like more time to develop their skills before moving to U10. Please contact r4u@swra.ca to inquire.
**All rebates will be processed mid-season.
A Tryouts U14-U19 - $100 Fee
Registration for players wanting to tryout for an A-team will close at Midnight Sunday 7th August. Late registration is NOT permitted and there will be no exceptions. A $100 tryout fee will be applied at registration if you answer “Yes” to the Question “A Tryouts”. You must pay this fee at registration to be able to take part.
Tryouts will be held from September 8th to the 20th and will be held at arenas in the Boni Vital, Eastman, Transcona, Macdonald and SouthWest Winnipeg areas this year. Cost of the tryouts will be $100.00/player - which will guarantee 4 ice times per age group. The dates, times and locations will be communicated once all are finalized.
Registration for players wanting to tryout for an A-team will close at Midnight Sunday 7th August.
Late registration is NOT permitted and there will be no exceptions.
***IMPORTANT: "A" Tryouts are not a Camp! Please only register for "A" Tryouts if you are serious about playing at an "A" level. Pulling out during tryouts or after impacts many things. We ask that only players willing to play at the "A" level attend tryouts.

U10 Friend Requests
U10 players may request to be on the same team as one other player, the request must be mutual and changes will not be accepted after registration closes. Friend requests are not guaranteed.
Refund Policy
Refund requests will only be considered during the first half of the season and will be subject to deductions. In order to be eligible for a refund, the individual must notify the SWRA Registrar in writing. Notification must be in the form of an email or letter from the individual withdrawing or the individual’s parent. Once a player has withdrawn, they will not be permitted on the ice. Deductions from the refunds will reflect non-recoverable expenses incurred by SWRA to the date of withdrawal, including online registration fees, any SWRA per player assessment expenses, pre-season ice opportunities provided by SWRA, Ringette Manitoba fees, WRL fees.

The above indicated administration and pre-season fees are based on the 2022/2023 budget and are subject to change each season.
If a player withdraws mid-season, they are also responsible for their portion of team fees, as determined by the team treasurer/manager, up to the date of their written withdrawal.
